Linux SCADA AggreGate


AggreGate is a system for visualizing and operating processes, production flows, machines and plants. It is a highly reliable multi-user distributed solution that provides supervisory control and monitoring for many sectors. AggreGate SCADA has advanced data acquisition and processing capabilities inherited from AggreGate Device Management Platform, such as real-time charting, comprehensive alerting/reporting, and batch operations. It is bundled with a rich set of device drivers for accessing and controlling different PLCs, sensors and other industrial devices. Most industry-standard protocols, such as OLE for Process Control (OPC), Modbus (TCP, UDP, Serial RTU/ASCII/BIN), BACnet IP, and SNMP, are supported directly. Integrated GUI Builder application simplifies the process of creating Human-Machine Interfaces for visualizing the processes. Available user interface components include standard form elements (e.g. text fields and buttons), tables, raster and vector images, highly customizable gauges, charts, splittable/tabbed/multi-layer panels, and many more. HMI applications created in GUI Builder can be launched separately, e.g. in touch panels.


Most well-known SCADA systems are designed for Microsoft Windows, predetermining their customers' choice of the operating system. AggreGate SCADA/HMI is a cross-platform solution based on Java technology. It can be installed on the following operating systems:
Windows (XP and all later versions)
Mac OS X
Sun Solaris


Linux and Mac OS versions of AggreGate SCADA/HMI provide unique support for remotely communicating with OPC servers using Distributed COM (DCOM) technology. There is no need to install any wrappers or other third-party software on either OPC Server host or AggreGate Linux server. The OPC communications for Linux and Mac OS work out-of-the-box, it's only necessary to enable DCOM on the OPC Server machine - is the real-time executive, database and server or SCADA module for a supervisory process monitoring and control system. The system can monitor input/output devices, process alarms, generate reports, build and display real-time and historical trend data and perform math and logic based actions. AccessPoint allows the user to develop application specific programs which utilize the real-time database and information processing functions. The product interfaces with a DataPath input/output, Historian and View Clients. Multiple users may work in this multi-tasking environment concurrently and exchange data with external software products such as View client spreadsheets, relational databases and statistical quality control (SQC) programs.

Dynamic chart library supports more than 25 chart types, exposing thousands of confi gurable parameters for setting up axes, series renderers, legends, titles, gridlines, crosshairs, etc. Trend of different types can be added, including linear, exponential, moving average or percentile.
