This site is created after the serious searches of variants to decide problems of data visualisation from the aquisition system for Linux platform for the big project
(I already work for a long time with data aquisition systems and information processing on Linux platform and development of OPC servers).
On this site I have tried to group the whole information about various SCADA working on Linux platform from the world.
Some of them are commercial products, some are developed by enthusiasts for the open use, some are constantly improved, and some are for a long time already forgotten. I consider it will be useful to add discussion of highs and lows of these systems that you could have a possibility to add information, which you found in web, and technical decisions which you used for solve own problems, share the opinions, and so on.
Monitoring, control and analysis of technological systems is a complex task that plays an essential role in every efficient industrial production and maintenance.
It is necessary to rely on stable, scalable and open architecture systems. mySCADA represents an all-in-one solution that offers flexibility,
simple development environment, and reduced development time.
mySCADA allows you to monitor, control and maintain your processes and supports you with statistical production, security access, reporting,
alarming and integrated documentation functions.

openSCADA is an open source, platform independent SCADA. Based on a modern system design that provides security and flexibility at the same time.
openSCADA is flexible. It is not an out of the box solution, but a set of tools that can be combined in many different ways.
It provides development libraries, interface applications, mass configuration tools, front-end and back-end applications.

The ScadaBR application is a Java-based platform, running on Windows, Linux and other operating systems.
Software can run from an application server (Apache Tomcat is the default choice).
The main interface of ScadaBR is easy to use and already offers visualization of variables, graphs, statistics, configuration
protocols, alarms, building type HMI screens and a range of options configuration.

AggreGate is a system for visualizing and operating processes, production flows, machines and plants. It is a highly reliable multi-user distributed solution that provides supervisory control and monitoring for many sectors.
Linux and Mac OS versions of AggreGate SCADA/HMI provide unique support for remotely communicating with OPC servers using Distributed COM (DCOM) technology. There is no need to install any wrappers or other third-party software on either OPC Server host or AggreGate Linux server.

Proview is probably the first Open Source system for process control in the world. Proview project is probably the first Open Source system for process control in the world.
It is modern, powerful and general and contains all functions normally required for successful sequential control, adjustment, data acquisition, communication, supervision, etc.
Originally developed in Sweden by Mandator and SSAB Oxelosund as a process control system based on standard computers, the system has become a fully-fledged, integrated and low-cost solution that is running on standard PC's with Linux as operating system.

ICSCADA is a Web-based Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system can be used to gather data directly from the wellhead RTU, store and review gas analysis information and keep maintenance records for frequency of calibration. Several tools designed to verify and calculate manual input data are available in a network based enterprise application. ICSCADA can be deployed in several small server centers for a nodal network or in a centralized location for larger producers.

Ignition has been used to create industrial automation software systems covering the full spectrum between HMI, SCADA, MES, and industrial middleware. Our unique web and database-centric architecture lets the software be used across dozens of industries worldwide.
Ignition is written in 100% Java, making it the first mature cross-platform HMI, SCADA, MES package available on the market. Top-to-bottom support for all major operating systems opens new dimensions of architecture flexibility. Companies are now free to use the system they want - not the system they're constrained to by outdated technology.

EnergoSCADA - not a classical visualization system, she has control function, but not use them in most projects, because she is developed for energy supply accounting. Data represent either through internal web-interface, or through external SCADA system with additional OPC-server.
EnergoSCADA based on kernel (task manager), which developed for work under most reliable and secure, true multitasking and multiusers operation system Linux.

Lintouch is an opensource HMI software. It lets you design user interfaces for process automation. Lintouch runs on most popular hardware and software platforms, is lightweight and easily xtensible. Lintouch is free software and is distributed under the GNU General Public License.
Using Lintouch Editor you can easily build your own HMIs by designing and testing the graphical layout of your screens. Later on you deploy the created Lintouch Project to your target device where it will be executed within the Lintouch Runtime.
